Three teen girls were hurt, one critically, after their car crashed into a pole on a Middle Village street known for speeding, reports say.
MIDDLE VILLAGE, QUEENS — Three teen girls were hurt, one critically, after their car crashed into a utility pole in Middle Village, reports say.
The Wednesday afternoon crash happened by Cook Avenue and 73rd Place, a street that neighbors say is notorious for speeding drivers, CBS New York reported.
Passenger Breanna Popovici, 17, is in critical condition after the crash left her pinned inside the car, according to CBS New York. Two 16-year-old girls suffered more minor injuries.

Neighbors told the news channel they want the transportation department to install speed bumps and speed cameras on 73rd Place.
