3 Men Attacked, Robbed In Elmhurst Home Break In, 1 Arrested: NYPD

The men broke into the home on 94th Street and Astoria Boulevard on Friday, July 14, about 3:40 a.m. with firearms, the NYPD said.

QUEENS — Three men broke into a home in East Elmhurst last week, attacked three men inside, and robbed them of their cell phones and money before fleeing, police said.

The men broke into the home on 94th Street and Astoria Boulevard on Friday, July 14, about 3:40 a.m. with firearms, the NYPD said.

The robbers struck a 42-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, and a 33-year-old man in the head with a firearm before taking their cell phones, credit cards, and cash and fleeing, authorities said.

Police arrested one of the robbers, 35-year-old Brooklynite Jorge Valdez, and the other two fled towards 95th Street after jumping over a fence, cops said.

The 42-year-old and 26-year-old were taken to nearby hospitals in stable condition, and the other man was treated on the scene, police said.

One of the robbers that fled is in his 30's, is about 5 feet, 9 inches, tall, and was last seen wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gray sneakers, the NYPD said.

The other man is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a multi-colored face mask, black jacket, gray pants, and gray sneakers, according to authorities.
