Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Cruises To Easy Victory
The Democratic darling will represent parts of Queens and The Bronx.

QUEENS, NY – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a national darling of the Democratic party since her history making June primary win over U.S. Rep. Joe Crowley, has cruised to victory to represent parts of Queens and The Bronx in Congress. She has been touring the country stumping for progressives.
Ocasio won with 77 percent of the vote versus her Republican opponent Anthony Pappas' 15 percent.
Pappas had his endorsement pulled by the Bronx and Queens GOP in September when the leaders of the respective committees learned of assault allegations by his ex-wife.
