  1. A Queens Assembly candidate is alleging that his opponent filed forged signatures in support of her candidacy. The accusations come as part of an already raucous campaign season in Queens. Anthony Andrews, a college professor and challenger for the Democratic nomination in the 32nd Assembly District, made the allegations against 30-year incumbent Vivian Cook. Cook's campaign has not yet commented on the situation. (Patch)
  2. Queens officials have asked Governor Hochul to address local concerns about the Interborough Express Rail. The proposed MTA route to connect Queens and Brooklyn would exacerbate an already troubling noise issue, according to officials. The Community Board 5 district is concerned that the Ridgewood, Middle Village, and Maspeth areas, which have already had to deal with noise issues from the New York & Atlantic Railway Co., have not been heard during the planning of the rail. (QNS.com)
  3. A person of interest has been identified in the gruesome stabbing of a Queens mother. Police say the person of interest is a man who knew the woman and could access her home. Authorities are still asking for anyone who has more information to come forward. Learn more by watching the video at the link. (NBC New York)
