Queens Breaks Ground on $39M Rego Park Library (queensledger.com) — Rego Park residents are getting a brand-new, $39 million Queens Public Library branch that will more than double the current space and add modern amenities, green design, and dedicated areas for kids, teens, and adults by 2028. During construction, a mobile library will serve the site starting January 8, 2026, and nearby branches in Elmhurst, Forest Hills, and North Forest Park remain available.

She was taken to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she later died, and NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is still probing why she entered the roadway. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
