  1. On Monday morning, an Amtrak train broke down in Queens for about seven hours. The train had more than 100 passengers aboard and had to wait for a rescue train to pull it into Penn Station. Acela No. 2151 had departed Boston South Station at 5:05 a.m. on Monday and broke down due to a power issue around 8:30 a.m. (NBC New York)
  2. Free at-home COVID-19 test kits are available to New Yorkers at 14 landmark City culture sites and 27 library branches, including Queens Public Library. The distribution kicked off on Monday and will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Test & Trace will update its website daily with hours and pick-up locations. (NBC New York)
  3. Police are searching for several suspects after multiple antisemitic incidents over the weekend in Brooklyn and Queens. In Queens, the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating antisemitic graffiti at a Jewish-owned dental lab. The Anti-Defamation League partnered with NYPD to offer a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of suspects. (CBS New York)
