Art Fest Celebrates Best Of Queens
More than 20 artists will exhibit at the Kew Gardens Community Arts Day.
QUEENS, NY – The best of Queens' homegrown art is going on show this weekend.
The Kew Gardens Community Arts Day is showcasing more than 20 artists who will exhibit and sell their work at the outdoor fair, located at Lefferts Boulevard and Austin Street, on Aug. 17.
Attendees will also get to create pieces of their own at an "art zone." The festivities feature sidewalk chalk drawing, too.

Organizers said local businesses will offer special discounts during the fair, which runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
