Astoria Fire Leaves One With Minor Injuries, FDNY Says

One person was injured but refused medical attention.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A fire that broke out in a residential building in Astoria left one person with minor injuries Friday, according to the FDNY.

The fire started on the first floor of a four-story building at 30-44 32nd Street around 7:50 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said. It was under control by 9 a.m.

The injured person refused medical attention, officials said.
