Bernie Sanders Is Top Choice For Queens Donors, Data Shows
Bernie Sanders has the most individual Queens donors of any of the Democratic presidential candidates, a New York Times analysis shows.

QUEENS, NY — U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is besting his rival Democratic presidential candidates among Queens donors, according to a new data analysis by The New York Times.
The Vermont senator was the number-one pick for individual donors across the entire borough, the Times' estimates show.
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts came in second for much of Western Queens, though Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., was the second choice for Long Island City donors.

Businessman Andrew Yang was the second-most-popular pick for residents in Northeast Queens. And pockets of Corona and Elmhurst opted for Mayor Bill de Blasio as their number-two.
Democratic presidential candidates need to get at least 130,000 unique donors to qualify for the September debates, according to the Times.
