  1. On Saturday, a Chinese food delivery man was fatally shot while making a delivery, and according to police, it could've been by a stray bullet. Zhiwen Yan was delivering near 108th Street and 67th Drive in Forest Hills when he was struck in the chest. Police say that no arrests have been made. (NY Post)
  2. Over the weekend, a significant effort was made by over 100 volunteers to help clean up Big Rock Beach in Queens. CBS2 News partnered up with local volunteers, many of them students from the area, to collect trash along the beach and the shoreline. This is a part of the CBS2 #BetterTogether campaign to promote the benefits of working as a team. (CBS New York)

She comes from a family of Greek immigrants and lives with her husband and three children in Queens.
