Brooklyn Children’s Museum Welcomes New Board Members

Jamison Divoll and Allison Maritza Lasky Join Board of Trustees

Brooklyn Children’s Museum is welcoming Jamison Divoll, Vice President of Development at Silverstein Properties, and Allison Maritza Lasky, Administrator of the Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, to its Board of Trustees. The two bring a wealth of experience and insight that will contribute significantly to the Museum’s future success.

A lifelong Brooklynite with a long-standing connection to the Museum, and whose mother, Peggi Einhorn, served for years on our board with distinction, Allison’s historical perspective and dedication to our mission will play a vital role in shaping the Museum’s future. With their vision and passion, we look forward to expanding our horizons and ensuring the best possible experiences for our young visitors.”

Jamison Divoll is Vice President of Development at Silverstein Properties, where he is responsible for overseeing activities on Silverstein’s ground up development projects. He has been leading the firm’s efforts on Innovation QNS, a five-block, three-million-square-foot master plan in Astoria, Queens. Additionally, he worked Silverstein’s development projects in New York City, including Four Seasons Hotel and Residence, New York Downtown, 44-01 Northern Boulevard, a residential development in Astoria, and the ABC / Disney Headquarters in Hudson Square.

Currently, Jamison is overseeing Silverstein’s residential developments in Las Vegas, NV, Tempe, AZ and Tampa, FL.

Jamison holds a B. S. in Management Engineering from Worcester Polytechic Institute and an M.S. in Real Estate Development from New York University. He has served as co-chair of the New York City chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Student Affairs Committee and is currently an active member of the Urban Land Institute. He lives with his family in Carroll Gardens.

Allison Maritza Lasky currently serves as Administrator of the Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in New York City, where she's enjoyed her career development for the last eleven years. In 2006, Allison received her BA in American Culture and Communications from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She began her master's in Health Care Management at Rutgers University's School of Health Professions in 2019, with a dual focus on Management and Leadership and Gerontology.

Allison is a member of The National Brain Tumor Society Advocacy Program, volunteers with the Cycle for Survival and continues to support initiatives focused on the learning disabled community. In 2019, her collaborative research was published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society (JAGS), 2019, Vol.67 (11), p.2338-2345. In honor of her mom, Peggi Einhorn, Allison has taken on running as a passion, joining special opportunities to raise awareness about brain cancer, aging, and neuredegenerative diseases.

Allison was born in Medellin, Colombia, and raised in Brownstone Brooklyn where she currently resides with her father, Michael, boyfriend, Joseph, and dog, Uno.
