Burglary Suspects Stole $24,000 In Items And Cash In Queens: NYPD
The burglaries occurred in Central, Southeast and Northeast Queens, according to police.

QUEENS, NY — Two men are wanted in connection with a string of robberies at apartment buildings throughout Southeast, Central and Northeast Queens and stealing approximately over $24,000 in cash, designer handbags and jewelry over the course of five weeks, according to the NYPD.
The two suspects, who are wanted for crimes in five police precincts, are both described to be of a dark complexion, medium build and brown eyes, authorities said.
The first suspect also had facial hair and was last seen wearing light colored pants, black sneakers, a green hooded sweatshirt and a yellow reflective vest. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black face mask, gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, black sneakers, a green hooded sweatshirt and a yellow reflective vest, according to a police report.

Five of the seven crimes were attempted robberies at 92nd Road and 170th St. in Jamaica (July 16); Elder Avenue and 135th Street in Downtown Flushing (Aug. 1); Strong Hurst Avenue and 230th Street in Queens Village on (Aug. 1); 93rd Avenue and 168th Street in Jamaica (Aug. 2); and Grand Central Parkway and 63 Road in Forest Hills, according to police.
In many instances, the alleged thieves were spooked by the homeowners, including in Queens Village where they were allegedly spotted fleeing a black Toyota, reported the NYPD.
One successful robbery took place in a Jamaica apartment building at 93rd Avenue and 168th Street that involved the two men breaking and entering through the master bedroom window and removing approximately $15,000 worth of jewelry, $5,200 worth of designer handbags and $4,000 in cash before 2 p.m. on July 25, according to authorities.
The second successful robbery attempt occurred on Aug. 23 at 1:20 p.m. in Bayside at an apartment building on 220th Street near Horace Harding Expressway, in which the home was broken into via a side window and the suspects walked away with only $60 before the homeowner arrived, police added.
