QUEENS, NY — There's something for everyone this weekend in Queens. The annual Astoria Park Carnival isn't the only event taking the borough by storm. Whether you're into traditional flamenco music at the theater, reggae night at the club, Captain Underpants or the Astoria film festival, you've got something to look forward to this weekend.

Astoria Park Carnival

Neighborhood: Astoria

What: The Central Astoria Local Development Coalition Inc. is hosting the annual Astoria Park Carnival. Come for rides, games, and food vendors in Astoria Park, right by the waterfront with views of the Manhattan skyline.

When: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday


Tango and Flamenco Fusion Performance

Neighborhood: Sunnyside

What: Latin Grammy winner maestro Raul Jaurena, musician Diego Amador, and Thalia Theatre executive director Angel Gil Orrios have put together a fusion of Tango and Flamenco song and dance.

Where: Thalia Theatre at 41-17 Greenpoint Ave.

When: 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday


Captain Underpants Free Family Screening

Neighborhood: Rego Park

What: Take the kids to see a free screening of the movie "Captain Underpants," starring Kevin Hart and Ed Helms, under the stars.

Where: Painter’s Playground at Dieterle Crescent and Alderton Street

When: 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday


Astoria Film Festival

Neighborhood: Astoria

What: The first annual Astoria Film Festival will highlight local filmmakers from all around the world.

Where: The Zukor Theatre at Kaufman Studios, 34-12 36th St.

When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday


World Oceans Day Local Marine Life Talk

Neighborhood: Rockaway Beach

What: The Urban Park Rangers will take you on a tour of the local marine wildlife along Rockaway Beach.

Where: 86th Street and Shorefront Parkway

When: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday


House of Glory Wrestling

Neighborhood: Jamaica

What: The NYC Arena is bringing back the House of Glory wrestling event, including special guest WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarret.

Where: NYC Arena, 91-12 144th Place

When: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday


Soca and Reggae Night at Jouvay

Neighborhood: Jamaica

Where: Jouvay Night Club, 147-02 Liberty Ave.

What: An award-winning dance party specially featuring Reggae, Soca, Afro Beats, and Hip Hop. Indulge in the Queens’ musical culture and dance the night away.

When: 10 p.m. Saturday


Ravel Hotel Rooftop Party

Neighborhood: Hunters Point

What: A free rooftop party with incredible skyline views. Make a reservation of five ladies or more and receive a complimentary bottle of champagne.

Family Friendly Sunset Silent Disco

Neighborhood: Long Island City

What: A dance party on the scenic LIC Landing. Attendees will be lent a headset to listen to a channel of their choosing, be it top 40s, retro throwbacks, hip-hop or rhythm and blues.

Where: Hunter’s Point Park Conservancy at 52-10 Center Blvd.

When: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday
