- Albany has approved two renewable energy projects which will provide energy to western Queens. The projects will transfer clean energy from upstate and across the Canadian border to power stations in the borough. Click the link to learn more details on the projects. (LIC Post)
- Three teens are in the hospital after crashing into an off-duty police officer's car yesterday morning in Woodside. Police say the teens were attempting to break into vehicles when a shot went off, hitting one of them in the leg. The three then fled and crashed a moped into the vehicle. (NBC New York)
- Queens police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection to attacks on three Sikh men. The young man has been charged with robbery, assault, aggravated harassment, and hate crimes. (Hindustan Times)
