Here are the top three stories in Queens today:

  1. In remembrance of those who died during the COVID-19 pandemic and 9/11, the Daffodil Project will be returning next month. New Yorkers for Parks Executive Director Adam Ganser says that the event is "an opportunity for New Yorkers to come together and create a beautiful, living memorial."   2. Police are still on the hunt for a suspect after a stabbing at a restaurant on Tuesday. According to police, the man stabbed another man who remains in critical condition. The stabbing took place at 10:45 p.m. at 145-105 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Springfield Gardens. According to investigators, the two men got into an argument and the perpetrator used a multi-tool knife to stab the victim. Police released footage of the accused stabber on Wednesday evening.   3. Get ready to make fall plans. The Queens Farm has announced its fall schedule, which kicks off on Sep. 9 with the 39th Annual Queens County Fair. The fair will run through the weekend and feature carnival games and rides as well as live music. Then, in October, the farm will host a pumpkin patch from Oct. 1 to 29, with a Halloween Trick-Or-Treat on the 30th. (Queens Chronicle)
