Disney Tribute Band To Take The Stage At Flushing Park

QUEENS — A free concert is coming to Kissena Corridor Park this weekend as New Yorkers embrace the last month of spring.

"The Rhythms of Spring" concert will take place at the park in Fresh Meadows on May 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., bringing the performance of a Disney tribute band. The event is hosted by Council Member Sandra Ung.

“I hope to see kids of all ages singing along to their favorite songs from both classic and contemporary Disney movies," said Ung.

The Little Mermen, a New York City-based cover band, play Disney hits from The Jungle Book to Frozen. The concert will be held near the intersection of Colden Street and 45th Avenue. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blanket.

The concert is in collaboration with the Queensborough Performing Arts Center.
