Driver Killed, Another Taken Into Custody After NYC Crash
The crash happened at 107th St. and Northern Blvd. in East Elmhurst Wednesday morning.
QUEENS, NY — A driver was killed and another has been taken into custody after a crash in Queens early Wednesday morning, police said.
The crash happened on Northern Boulevard around 4:15 a.m. in East Elmhurst.
A 24-year-old man was driving a 2022 BMW north on 107th Street when it was struck by a 2015 Mercedes driving east on Northern Boulevard, according to multiple media reports.

The driver of the BMW was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The two passengers in the Mercedes were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.

The 28-year-old driver of the Mercedes was taken into police custody following the crash.
Charges are pending as of Wednesday afternoon.
