Driver Rams Car Into NYPD Cruiser In Queens, Injures 2 Cops: Police

QUEENS, NY — A daredevil driver rammed their car into an NYPD cruiser in Queens, seriously injuring two cops before speeding off, police said.
The motorist — who drove an as-yet-unidentified sedan bearing a Texas plate — has yet to be lassoed after the early Sunday crash in Flushing, authorities said.
The crash unfolded as two on-duty, uniformed NYPD officers drove a marked police car near 32nd Avenue and College Point about 12:15 a.m., officials said.

It's there that an unidentified motorist in a black, four-door sedan heading south on College Point Boulevard disobeyed multiple red lights and rammed into the police car, authorities said.
The crash disabled the cops' car and left the two officers with serious injuries, for which they were rushed to Booth Memorial Hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.

The motorist sped off to the west down Northern Boulevard, officials said. Their vehicle, potentially a Honda Civil from 2015 to 2023, has black tinted windows and a Texas license plate with an unknown number.
NYPD officials released photographs of the car late Tuesday.
