Duckling In Distress Saved By Cops Who Pull Up Grate To Pluck It From Queens Sewer
The city's finest plucked the chick to safety after a witness saw it fall.

FLUSHING, QUEENS — New York City's Finest saved the city's cutest.
NYPD officers plucked a duckling in distress from a Flushing sewer drain on Mother's Day. The chick was seen falling through a grate in the street by a witness who flagged down cops, according to a tweet from the department's 109th precinct.
The three officers pulled up the grate and helped the little guy to safety.

The duckling was reunited with its family. "All's well that ends well," tweeted the 109th Precinct, along with a photo of the rescued duckling.
