- A fire broke out in Edgemere on Monday morning. According to officials, firefighters responded just before 8:00 a.m. to flames emerging from the top floor of a nine-story building in the neighborhood. Fire officials say that e-bikes being stored on the floor may have caused the fire. As of Monday evening, no injuries have been reported. (CBS New York)
- Bring da ruckus! Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan visited with Mets owner Steve Cohen on Sunday. The rapper brought family and friends to see the Mets play against the Miami Marlins. - Major street and sewer construction projects have been completed a year ahead of time. NYC officials attended an event marking the completion of the project, which was designed to alleviate flooding and improve infrastructure in the neighborhoods of South Jamaica and St. Albans.
