Elderly Queens Woman Suffers Medical Emergency, Dies In Crash: NYPD

QUEENS — A 76-year-old woman died in a car crash after she suffered a medical episode while driving in Cambria Heights over the weekend, police said.
Winsome Rose, from Queens Village, crashed against a wall on 112th Avenue and the Cross Island Parkway after she suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel on Saturday, July 22, about 11:15 a.m., the NYPD said.
She was taken to North Shore University Hospital, where she died after sustaining trauma to the head and torso, authorities said.

There were no other vehicles involved and no other injuries were reported regarding this incident, police said.
