Elmhurst Fire Breaks Out In Residential Building, Officials Say

There were no injuries.

ELMHURST, QUEENS — A fire broke out in an Elmhurst building Friday, the FDNY said. There were no injuries.

The blaze started in a residential building at 91-40 Lamont Ave. around 11.45 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said. The fire was under control by 12.30 p.m.
