  1. A water main break sent a high-pressure stream of water shooting above a Queens intersection on Wednesday morning. Water was seen shooting into the air and onto nearby buildings and traffic lights at the corner of Kneeland Avenue and Manilla Street in Elmhurst. The break caused a sinkhole at the site of the stream and approximately 300 residents and four businesses were impacted. (CBS New York)
  2. NYPD is trying to uncover the identity of a burglar who broke into a Queens office last month and stole cell phones. On Mar. 9, a man gained entry into an office at 150-11 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica, where he stole three cell phones and then fled the scene eastbound on Hillside Avenue. The suspect has been described as a bald, light-skinned man with a white mask over his face. (1010 WINS)
  3. Two Sikh men were attacked and robbed in the same location where another 70-year-old Sikh man was assaulted on Apr. 3. The two victims, ages 64 and 76, were beaten with a wooden stick by two men on Tuesday near the corner of Lefferts Boulevard and 95th Avenue in Queens. According to local community leader Japneet Singh, both men were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition and one of the victims received stitches above his eye.
