QUEENS — As New Yorkers begin their celebrations for Black History Month, residents in Queens will have a series of musical performances taking place in a popular Flushing venue.
Flushing Town Hall announced its celebrating February with the return of “Black History Trilogy,” a three-part series of musical performances that pay tribute to iconic African American artists between Feb. 3 and Feb. 24.
Performers will pay tribute to Chuck Berry, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Al Green, Ottis Redding, and others at the Smithsonian affiliate located at 137-35 Northern Boulevard.

Tickets start at $15 or $12 for members, students, or seniors.
The first performance on Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. will pay a tribute to Chuck Berry featuring the vocalist and blues guitarist Keith “The Captain” Gamble.

The second part of the series will take place on Feb. 10 with the performance of “The Challenge to Defy Gravity” to honor the dancers of the 1920s Savoy Ballroom.
The final performance will take place on Feb. 24 at 8 p.m., celebrating the music of Gaye, Redding, and more artists.
