Forest Hills Subway Station Reopens Public Bathrooms
The public bathroom at the Forest Hills–71 Av station closed after the pandemic outbreak in March 2020.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — The subway station located at Forest Hills reopened its bathroom to the public on Monday after nearly three years, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.
The public bathroom at the Forest Hills–71 Av station closed after the pandemic outbreak in March 2020. The upgraded male and female bathrooms will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“As ridership continues to rebound, we’re pleased to provide relief to customers by reopening some bathrooms across the transit system,” said New York City Transit President Richard Davey. “When customers have got to go on the go, we’ve now got them covered at select stations.”
