Gunman Steals French Bulldog In Queens, Gets Taken To Pound: NYPD

A 16-year-old thief briefly nabbed a Frenchie during a Christmas Day stickup before cops collared him, according to a report.

QUEENS, NY — A French Bulldog is back home in Queens while its would-be dognapper is in the pound, police said.

Cops collared a 16-year-old boy who briefly purloined a pooch at gunpoint from another teen Christmas morning, the New York Daily News first reported.

The hound heist unfolded outside the Queensbridge home as a boy, 15, walked took his French Bulldog for a walk, the report states. But the peaceful dog walk turned violent when the older boy pulled a gun and snatched the Frenchie, according to the report.

Luckily, NYPD housing cops quickly found both the dog and dognapper, officials said.

"Thanks to the quick actions by your @NYPDPSA9 cops, the criminal was caught, a firearm was recovered, and the owner and pooch will not be having a RUFF day," the NYPD tweeted.
