Hospital In Queens Relocating Kids So It Can Expand ICU: Report
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is relocating its youngest patients to make room for critically ill COVID-19 cases, the New York Post reports.

QUEENS, NY — Health care workers at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens are relocating their youngest patients to make room for a spike in COVID-19 patients in critical condition, according to a news report.
Children undergoing treatment at the Flushing hospital are being moved elsewhere to make room for an expanded intensive care unit for patients who have fallen seriously ill from the new coronavirus, a source told the New York Post.
It's unclear where the kids will be moved.

Queens has the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among the five boroughs as of Wednesday morning: There are 5,066 cases in Queens, the only borough so far that has surpassed 5,000 cases, according to data released by the mayor's office.
The NewYork-Presbyterian network is treating 1,000 coronavirus patients, a fifth of whom need ICU beds, according to a Wednesday morning briefing by Dr. Laura Forese, the hospital network's executive vice president, that a source described to the Post.
