- The Housing Lottery has launched for a five-story residential building in Ridgewood. 26 units are available at 80-97 Cypress Avenue for residents on NYC Housing Connect at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $34,218 to $77,340. Prospective renters must meet all requirements to apply and applications must be submitted no later than Apr. 20. (New York YIMBY)
- A man with autism was found safe after going missing in Queens. 20-year-old Gabriel Blandon was not wearing a coat or shoes when he disappeared on Tuesday. He had last been seen walking at the intersection of 47th Avenue and Greenpoint Avenue around 12:30 p.m and was found in safe condition around 7:20 p.m. (PIX11)
- A Queens red-light camera was destroyed by a bicyclist who fired 16 shots with two guns at it. At around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, a bicyclist fired 14 times with a 9-mm. gun and let off two rounds from a .380 at Woodhaven Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue in Woodhaven, knocking the camera out of service. A similar incident happened in early January; however, investigators have not yet determined if the two incidents are connected. (NY Daily News)
