QUEENS, NY — An NYPD internal affairs cop drunkenly drove to work in Queens, according to police and a report.

Sgt. Braulio Aponte, 40, faces a first-offense drunken driving charge after his arrest Wednesday afternoon, NYPD officials said.

Aponte, who is assigned to the department's Internal Affairs Bureau, was arrested after he unsteadily got out of his car and walked into Astoria's 114th Precinct for work, the New York Daily News first reported.
