Man Fatally Struck By Train, No. 7 Subway Service Running On Delays

QUEENS, NY — A portion of the No. 7 line train service in Queens is currently suspended after a man was fatally struck by a train Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at the 103 St. Corona Plaza station around 2:40 p.m., police said.

Witnesses told ABC7 New York that the man apparently jumped in front of a train.

Flushing-bound service is suspended through the area, the MTA said. Hudson Yards-bound 7 trains are running express service from Flushing-Main St to 74 St-Broadway.

The MTA is encouraging riders to consider taking E/F/M/N/R/W trains or Q32, Q48, Q60 buses as alternate service between Manhattan and Queens.
