QUEENS, NY — A 65-year-old man was found dead inside a Queens auto repair shop on Monday, police said on Tuesday.

Officers responded to a 911 call at a shop located at 149-20 Cross Island Pkwy. in Whitestone around 3p.m.

At the scene, police found the victim unresponsive, police said. The 65-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

According to multiple media reports, the victim may have been the owner of the auto repair shop.
