Man Shot In Torso While Exiting Car In Woodside: NYPD

The 31-year-old was exiting his car on Broadway and 65th Street when another man came up to him and shot him, police said.

QUEENS — A 31-year-old man was shot Monday in Woodside, police said.

The man was exiting his car parked on Broadway and 65th Street about 4:15 a.m. when another man came up to him and they started to fight, the NYPD said.

The second man pulled out a firearm and shot the 31-year-old in the torso before fleeing in a dark-colored sedan, authorities said.

The 31-year-old was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition, cops said.

Police released images of the shooter Wednesday.
