Man Slashed Twice At NYC Subway Station, No Arrests Made Yet

QUEENS, NY — A 43-year-old man was slashed multiple times at a Queens subway station on Tuesday, police said.

The incident happened in the mezzanine of the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue station around 3:50 p.m.

Officers found the victim with a slash wound to the face and neck. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition.

A knife was recovered at the scene. What led up to the slashing is not known at this time.

No arrests have been made yet. A description of a possible suspect was not readily available.

An investigation remains ongoing.
