Man Stabbed To Death During NYC Street Fight: NYPD

QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who fatally stabbed a man during a street fight in Queens.

The incident happened on Saturday around 6:50 p.m. on the 300 block of Beach 13th Street in Far Rockaway, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call of a reported knife fight. When they arrived to the scene, they learned the two men involved had the locations moments earlier.

Police searched nearby hospitals and found Nilkinson L. Medina, 33, with multiple stab wounds to his chest at St. John's Hospital.

The victim was later pronounced dead.

Police are trying to determine what led up to the deadly incident.

A description of a suspect was not readily available as of Monday afternoon.
