QUEENS — Fresh Meadows will soon install a fresh option for salads, bowls, and pitas.
Taim Mediterranean Kitchen is coming to the Queens neighborhood on March 20, posting the chain’s 13th location at 61-42 188th Street.
“Our new location in Fresh Meadows brings us right into the heart of a community where our Mediterranean heritage, 18 different herbs and spices, plant-based options, and vibrant menu are a way of life for residents from all over the world,” said Phil Petrilli, Taim’s owner.

Taim opened its first location in the city in 2005, serving dishes like chicken and cauliflower shawarma and golden eggplant.
The restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, will have a series of events next week to celebrate the opening.

On Monday, March 20, customers can support Nathaniel Hawthorne Middle School from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with 100 percent of the proceeds from orders going to the school.
A fundraiser for Francis Lewis High School will take place at the same time on Tuesday, while the grand opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday.
