Missing Queens Teen Lured To London Found Safe, 1 In Custody

A 16-year-old Queens girl who went missing this weekend was found safe in London on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.

QUEENS, NY — A 16-year-old Queens girl who went missing this weekend was found safe in London on Wednesday, four days after she disappeared, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

Victoria Grabowski, a Maspeth resident, had been lured across the pond by a man she met on Facebook; the man is in custody but no charges were immediately filed, the New York Daily News reported.

Grabowski was last seen in her Maspeth home the morning of Aug. 24, according to police.

Her father, Radoslaw, got home from work later that day and found the front door open and her clothes missing, a relative told NBC New York.

Family phone records showed she had been searching for flights to London and that she may have been brought there by a British man she met online, QNS.com and NBC New York reported.
