Motorist Arrested, Killed 71-Year-Old Man In 2023 Queens Crash: NYPD
The crash unfolded on Dec. 18, 2023 around 8:15 p.m when Hill driving a 2021 Dodge Ram slammed into Howe's 2002 Chevy Impala.
QUEENS, NY — A 31-year-old Queens man has been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal, 2023 crash after he ran a red light and killed a 71-year-old driver, police announced.
Mario Hill, has been charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, reckless driving and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
The crash unfolded on Dec. 18, 2023 around 8:15 p.m when Hill driving a 2021 Dodge Ram north on Guy Brewer Boulevard slammed into Fitz H.Slowe's 2002 Chevy Impala at the South Conduit Avenue intersection, Patch previously reported.

Both drivers were transported to Jamaica Hospital, where Slowe was pronounced dead. Hill was taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
