QUEENS — A mobile cannabis dispensary near Rockaway Beach was shut down on Wednesday by police, according to Council Member Joann Ariola.

The operators of the marihuana dispensary were arrested, with the operators facing possible felony charges, Ariola said in a statement.

“The owners of this unlicensed operation were thumbing their nose at local law enforcement for months as they peddled their goods to the visitors of the peninsula,” said Ariola.

The dispensary was located next to the ferry landing near Beach 108th Street and Beach Channel Drive.
