Pregnant Woman Kicked In Stomach During Queens Subway Argument: NYPD
A pregnant 25-year-old straphanger was hospitalized Wednesday after a woman kicked her stomach and beat her with a phone, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A pregnant woman was kicked in the stomach during an argument on a Queens subway train, police said.
The assault unfolded when a 25-year-old pregnant straphanger was bumped by another woman on a 7 train Wednesday morning about 9 a.m., authorities said.
The women's subsequent argument continued as they both left the train into the 74th Street station, NYPD officials said.

Their dispute escalated to the point that the as-yet-unidentified woman pummeled the pregnant straphanger with a phone and kicked her in the stomach, police said.
The attacker left the station before medics arrived and took the pregnant woman — who suffered pain in her stomach as well as swelling and bruising to her face — to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment, police said.

Police released a photograph of a woman they said attacked the pregnant straphanger.
