Queens Couple Wins $1M In Powerball
The Flushing couple got a second prize for a ticket bought at a College Point Boulevard newsstand.

QUEENS, NY — A Queens couple claimed a $1 million Powerball prize, state lottery officials said.
Mengsi and Bin Chen won the second prize on a ticket they bought from a newsstand in their home neighborhood of Flushing.
Their ticket's first five numbers matched those drawn Aug. 28, officials said last week.

Together, they opted to split the prize in two one-time lump sum payments.
Mengi received nearly $490,000 and Bin got $122,000, after required withholdings, officials said.

The Chens bought the ticket at Skyview Newsstand along College Point Boulevard, within sight of Citi Field, officials said.
