  1. A Queens man was indicted on Monday after police say he stole a school bus last month and took it for a joyride across Kings County. Authorities say he caused injuries to multiple people and heavy-duty property damage. Anthony Reyes, 43, of Jamaica, Queens, is being held on bond and due back in court on March 11. (Brooklyn Paper)
  2. Two Queen lawmakers are asking for legislative action to protect street vendors. The bill would eliminate the cap on licenses and allow small businesses to receive relief aid. This week, the state released the 2022 Executive Budget that included relief money for small businesses, but street vendors in NYC are currently ineligible for it. (QNS.com)
  3. Many New York officials are telling residents to prepare for “dangerous” cold weather this weekend. Many regions are expected to experience below-freezing temperatures and wind chills as low as negative 30 degrees. (Hudson Valley Post)
