Queens Man Wins $1M Scratch-Off Prize: New York Lottery
Michael Spivey will walk away with a lump sum of over $526,000 after purchasing the game from a supermarket, officials announced.

QUEENS, NY — A St. Albans man has claimed the top prize of $1 million from the New York Lottery’s Lucky Dog scratch-off game.
Michael Spivey opted for the lump sum of $526,526 for the winning ticket he bough at the Shop Fair Supermarket at 153-30 89th St. in Jamaica, the New York Lottery announced Tuesday.
Currently, there is one $1 million top prize Lucky Dog ticket left and players can check the status of the scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report.

Across the five boroughs, school districts have received over $1.25 million from the Lottery Aid to Education fund during fiscal year 2021 to 2022 and the scratch-off games have also generated over $4.5 million in total sales in the same period.
