Queens Pair Stashed $654K Of Drugs In Penthouse: DA
A raid on a Flushing penthouse uncovered amphetamines, MDMA, oxycodone and psilocybin mushrooms, prosecutors said.

QUEENS, NY — A Queens pair stashed $654,000 worth of drugs — including amphetamines, MDMA, oxycodone and psilocybin mushrooms — in their penthouse, prosecutors said.
Amanda Chen, 39, and Sheng Lin, 42, face more than a dozen drug-related counts after a Tuesday raid on their Flushing home, authorities said.
"We will not allow drug dealers to set up pill mills and peddle poison that could do untold harm in our communities," said Melinda Katz, district attorney for Queens.

The raid unfolded after investigators stopped the pair as they left a parking garage for their Northern Boulevard building near 146th Street, authorities said.
A subsequent warrant search of their penthouse uncovered a stash of drugs, prosecutors said.

Detectives found thousands of amphetamine pills, in addition to MDMA and a kaleidoscope of multi-colored oxycodone pills, inside a bedroom closet, officials said.
They also found bags of psilocybin mushrooms, as well as generic Xanax, methamphetamine rock and more oxycodone and MDMA pills stuffed elsewhere in the home, prosecutors said.
Investigators also seized a combined $38,000 from the penthouse and the couple's BMW, officials said.
Chen and Lin were arraigned Wednesday and respectively face up to 20 years and 24 years in prison if convicted.
