Queens School Bus Crash Leaves 19 Hurt, Officials Say

ROSEDALE, QUEENS — A school bus and a truck collided in Queens Friday leaving 19 injured, FDNY officials said. All of the injuries were minor.

Officials said most of those hurt were students. One refused medical attention, while the others were transferred to Jamaica and St. John's Hospitals.

The accident happened at the intersection of Rockaway and Brookville Boulevards around 10 a.m., an FDNY spokeswoman said. There were no further details as of 1:30 p.m.
