Queens Shakespeare On The Beach: Fear Not Sharks

Soothe away your shark worries with five nights of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on Rockaway Beach starting Wednesday.

QUEENS, NY — Exit, pursued by a shark.

New Yorkers took that Shakespearean direction last week and fled Rockaway Beach's waters after the city's first recorded shark attack in 70 years.

But fear not sharks this week as five free nights of Shakespeare On The Beach kick off Wednesday from the safe confines of Beach 94th Street Plaza Amphitheater.
