Queens Toddler Fatally Struck By Driver Outside His Home
A toddler was hit and killed by a driver outside his Far Rockaway home Monday, according to police. There are no arrests.
FAR ROCKAWAY, QUEENS — A Queens toddler was hit and killed by a driver outside his home Monday, according to police.
A 73-year-old woman was driving east on Virginia Street in Far Rockaway about 11:30 a.m. when she struck three-year-old Mardichai Yovits right in front of his house, police said.
First responders rushed the unconscious toddler to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
