Woman Stabbed In Queens In City's First 2018 Homicide, Cops Say
The NYPD is investigating the killing of a 26-year-old woman in Ozone Park.

OZONE PARK, NY — A woman was stabbed to death in Ozone Park on Monday afternoon in the first homicide of 2018, the NYPD said.
Officers in the 106th Precinct found the 26-year-old unconscious with stab wounds in her back around 1 p.m. in a house on 103rd Avenue, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not arrested anyone in connection with the killing, the NYPD said. The NYPD has not yet publicly identified the victim.

The New Year's Day killing comes after a year in which New York City saw the fewest homicides since 1951.
