Queens World Film Festival Officially Begins
Tickets start at $11.25 and showtimes will vary.
QUEENS – The 12th edition of the Queens World Film Festival is set to take place across five Queens locations starting Tuesday, with the last showing on Sunday.
More than 150 films from across the globe will be screened throughout Flushing Town Hall, Kaufman Astoria Studios, Museum of the Moving Image, Queens Theatre, and The Local NY starting Nov. 1.
The screenings will also feature films from across all five boroughs, including 29 projects from Queens.

The Queens Theatre is also set to grant the Spirit of Queens awards during a ceremony on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

The festival will present themed sets of screenings, including “WTF? (What The Film?): Five films that are full of surprises” and “Food For Thought: Eight Films with food as a metaphor for everything.”
