Jessica Ramos Sails To Victory In Unopposed Queens Senate Race
No Republican challenger surfaced to challenge Ramos in the general election

The Jackson Heights resident and former mayoral spokeswoman won handily after defeating State Sen. Jose Peralta in September's Democratic primary.
Peralta was a member of the now defunct Independent Democratic Caucus (IDC) which was a group of state senate Democrats that caucused with Republicans.
