Speeding Queens Driver Killed After Losing Control, Hitting Tree
The speeding driver died early Sunday in Ozone Park after he lost control, crashed into a tree and was thrown from his car, police said.
OZONE PARK, QUEENS — A Queens driver died early Sunday after he crashed into a tree and was thrown from his car, police said.
Woodhaven resident Sadman Sakib was speeding by South Conduit Avenue and Linden Boulevard just before 4 a.m. when he lost control of his Honda Accord and hit a tree, the NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad found.
First responders found the 23-year-old driver lying in the road and pronounced him dead.
